THE OUTSIDE ADVANTAGE  is an immersive and structured programme of discovery and transformation to enhance team effectiveness, build an aligned team culture and improve performance through using situational analysis to understand where the team and leaders are today and to clarify the actions and culture to achieve tomorrow.

We facilitate and guide Your team to explore the business and team dynamics through a walking journey and team exercises that enable all to connect with nature, with each other and to build trust and openness in an accessible, beautiful natural outdoor environment.

All of these transformation and change programmes are bespoke and tailored to your business needs, 3 examples are:

THE JOURNEY – This starts with an immersion to understand your business challenge or goal. Your team are supported and facilitated to discover their current culture, roles, responsibilities and uncover any blockers to alignment to objectives during a day of a walking journey and or a series of outdoor activities that support team connection and effectiveness. Usually held in a beautiful lowland location within stunning scenery and is a one-day experience of discovery, transformation and the team leaves commited to action. The programmes is then followed by an accountability session to ensure that the actions and change endure.

THE MOUNTAIN – A similar process, starting with deep immersion consultancy phase to understand the potential strategic changes and transformation required for the business leadership team need to lead. The leadership team’s thinking and norms are challenged, alternative solutions explored and new paradigms of action commited to. Normally facilitated in a more demanding environment such as a mountainous region and includes a team mountain summit activity, where the team walks through their future journey uncovering the blockers and enablers to success on the route and developing their strategic map for the future of the organisation. This is normally betweeen 2 and 4 days in duration and followed by an accountability plan.

THE JOURNEY takes place in Sussex or Surrey in the South East of England in stunning scenery with access to a beautiful landscape and close to London and Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

THE MOUNTAIN takes place in the mountainous regions of Snowdonia or the Lake District in the UK, and the mountains of Central Spain and Norway.
